What changed on 15 May in NSW

  • outdoor gatherings of up to 10 people

  • cafes and restaurants can seat 10 patrons at any one time and continue to provide takeaway services

  • up to 5 visitors may visit another household at any one time

  • weddings can have up to 10 guests plus the celebrant and couple

  • indoor funerals can have up to 20 mourners and outdoor funerals up to 30

  • religious gatherings and places of worship can have up to 10 worshippers

  • outdoor playground and exercise equipment can be used with caution

  • outdoor pools will be open with restrictions.

  • Maccabi National Titles event (ANZAC weekend, for young adults) – Postponed, dates TBC

  • Basketball:  All activities still suspended – awaiting further directives from Basketball NSW around allowing to start training again. Being indoor venues, this will likely not be until Stage 2 (around mid-June), with games in Stage 3 (July).

  • Netball: All activities still suspended – awaiting directives from Association / Netball NSW. Small group training may start shortly (10 ppl or less) but this is TBC. Will likely start proper training in Stage 2 (around mid-June), with games in Stage 3.

  • Football: All activities still suspended – awaiting further directives from Football NSW around allowing to start training again. Training may not officially start until Stage 2 (around mid-June), with Games in Stage 3 (July).

  • Swimming –  Outdoor pools will re-open May 15th, with strict distancing policies (1 person per lane).

                      `     Indoor pools may open in Stage 2 (mid-June).

                            Maccabi Swimming Club – no current activities (off season).

  • Rugby: Training allowed in small groups, starting from Friday May 15 (in small groups – 10 ppl or less). Games still TBC (aiming for July start)

  • Tennis: Maccabi Tennis Club currently open for court bookings & private lessons.

                   All competitions still suspended – may resume in Stage 2/Stage 3.

  • Cricket: remaining fixtures in Junior cricket have been cancelled

  • Golf:  Golf Clubs are open for members to play in small groups.

                As  large gatherings are still suspended, all Maccabi events/comps still suspended. Will be re-                            scheduled - TBC

  • Triathlon: All outdoor club activities currently still suspended.

                      Club is holding online cycling races (with personal bike trainers/machines).

                      Club activities/races may resume in Stage 2 (mid-June) or likely Stage 3 (July) - TBC

  • Lawn Bowls: All Club activities still suspended. Club competitions unlikely to start until Stage 3 at earliest                           (July or afterwards).

  • Tenpin: weekly comp suspended for now, venues currently closed

  • Touch Footy: Competitions still suspended. Will likely resume competitions in Stage 3 (July-August).

  • Social Mixed Netball: Competitions still suspended. Will likely resume competitions in Stage 3 (July-                                                 August).

  • All Abilities Dance Program: sessions cancelled through end of April

  • Futsal: Currently off-season. Trials & training to start in Stage 3 (July).

  • Cycling: All outdoor club activities currently still suspended.

                    Club is holding online cycling races (with personal bike trainers/machines).

                    Club activities/races may resume in Stage 2 (mid-June) or likely Stage 3 (July) - TBC
