CLUB TRAINING / COMPETITION UPDATE
As at: 7 July 2020
The public health situation in Victoria is extremely serious. The message from the Government is loud and clear, you must adhere to the restrictions for the health and well-being of yourself, your family and every Australian.
Based on the advice of the Chief Health Officer, Stage 3 "Stay at Home" restrictions will be reinstated across metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire from 11:59pm on Wednesday 8 July for 6 weeks; that is until at least 11.59pm on 19 August 2020.
School holidays have been extended by one week. Schools will be open only to Year 11 and 12 students next week, along with schools specifically for those with special needs.
No visitors are permitted in private homes.
The Maccabi Victoria office will return to Stage 3 trading limitations.
We await further notice from Government and State Sport Associations with regards to the Winter 2020 Sport season. We will update this site whenever new information becomes available. All training and competitions will now be placed on hold for at least 6 weeks.

What you and your family need to keep doing during the restrictions:
practice good hygiene
maintain physical distancing, keep at least 1.5 metres away from others
understand the risk and symptoms
help continue to slow the spread of COVID-19 by getting tested, even if you have mild symptoms
stay home and avoid contact if you’re feeling unwell
take care wherever you go, assume others may be carrying the virus
The Maccabi Hardship Relief Fund remains committed to providing much needed assistance to those in our community facing financial hardhsip due to COVID-19. When the new July Stage 3 restrictions are lifted and we 'once again' begin the process of returning to community sport, Maccabi Victoria and the Maccabi Victoria Sports Foundation will be here to ensure everyone has the opportunity to join a Maccabi Victoria Club, so we all COME BACK TOGETHER!
The fund will remain open for at least 12 months to provide assistance for seasonal sports.
