connecting our Jewish community through sport and wellbeing

As we come to the end of another challenging year, it is appropriate that we look back and reflect on the lessons learnt, the challenges overcome, and the resilience shown. Importantly though we need to look forward and, in this regard, use the light of hope that is reflected in the celebration of Chanukah as a pathway to a more optimistic and hopefully healthy year ahead.
Maccabi across Australia has continued work tirelessly albeit in a virtual way to keep our community connected. Our Maccabi updates website has been a great source of information and support. In addition, our Maccabi Life programs have continued as we recognised the need to focus on mental health as well as physical wellness at home.
Planning for Maccabiah 2022 is well underway and we remain confident of sending a large contingent to the games in July. Also our junior carnivals will continue in each of the 3 states9 Sydney, Melbourne and Perth) as a mark of the transition back to the Sporting field.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish our members, supporters, sponsors and the Maccabi family in Australia and overseas a joyous, happy and healthy 2022
