The Maccabi Victoria Hall of Fame honours Jewish athletes, coaches and administrators, male and female, who have made a significant contribution to sport in Victoria. Up to 10 inductees and 3 legends are selected every 5 years. A gala event is held to celebrate the induction.
75 Maccabi sportspersons were inducted into the inaugural Hall of Fame in 2000. A further 17 outstanding sportsperson's were inducted in March 2006, 8 Inductees and 2 Legends in 2011 and 10 Inductees and 2 Legends in 2016.
Members are nominated for outstanding service, individual record, ability, integrity, sportsmanship, character & number of years of service.
A special category, Legends of Jewish Sport, honours those who have had the most significant impact on Jewish sport.

Dylan Alcott OAM, a dual sport athlete, has represented Australia on the international stage in both wheelchair basketball and wheelchair tennis since the age of 13. Join us to hear Dylan share his amazing and inspiring life story.
